They were highly young (I think they’re still in their teens), And it was nothing more than an “I’m I’m-not-going-to-miss-this” doorknock. They came knocking, I responded, and the girl declared, “I do not think you’d like an issue of our magazine, would you?” while the two young men sat back. They were sporting white ties and shirts (and the lady was dressed in a gown).
I politely replied, “Oh… I said, “No, Thank you,” and smiled, and then they all sang, “Thank you for taking the time,” and then …walked off. It was not a heated debate now. It’s like uninterested door-to-door salespeople who do it only to bring food onto the tables. Undoubtedly, they were not interested in the process emotionally (I don’t blame the salespeople).

What You Can Do to Support Rooming Arrangements
Only stay-in hotels that are which are listed on this year’s Recommended Accommodation List. Only call the hotels listed to inquire whether they offer a special rate for our conference. Hotels not listed included often declare that they offer a special rate for Jehovah’s Witnesses.
To comply with fire safety regulations, ensure that no more than four people are in each space, not including children, unless a list specifies otherwise under the heading “Adults.”
If rooms are closed when you phone each hotel in the list, or there is a problem at the hotel you are staying at, notify the secretary of your congregation. It would help if you informed the Convention’s Rooming Department using the details at the top of this list. It would help if you waited for an updated list to arrive at your time of the convention instead of making a call to a hotel that is not listed included on the list.
Only reserve the rooms that you’ll use.
To ensure your reservation, you need to pay a down payment at the time of booking for each hotel room you reserve. If not, the hotel may let you use your space for another person.
Make sure to reserve your reservation in the first place.
If your church has its circuit assembly when the convention assignments are given out, the secretary could create a copy of the Recommended Lodging List of every book study supervisor to present to the group. No copies of the list should be provided to private authors.
