Private Profiles in Snapchat are not brand new; however, their accessibility has evolved. However, the feature was initially restricted to creators and celebrities, but that changed in the latter half of 2020 when Snapchat enabled anyone to create an individual Public Profile through the app. Snapchat provides the option of a separate Creator Account. Why Snapchat Accounts Are Not Eligible For A Public Profile

Every account can be set up to create an official profile. If the ‘Create Private Profile’ choice doesn’t appear on a person’s profile page, then it’s likely the account isn’t suitable. Two reasons that this may be the case are the old age of the report and the absence of an existing relationship with another Snapchat user. If a Snapchat account is old, the Snapchat account needs to be at minimum one day old to be eligible for a change. It can be upgraded to a public version. In terms of friendships, Snapchat requires an account to have at minimum one bi-directional acquaintance. The bill must have a friend with another user, and a different account must befriend the other version.

Additional general rules may limit users’ access to the Public Profile option on Snapchat. The feature, for instance, is available only to users over 18 and is not accessible to everyone worldwide.
