If you own a physical Ulta gift card or Ulta E-gift card, you can check the current amount of the gift card by visiting the page for gift cards on the Ulta website. Scroll down until you reach the Ulta balance checker for your gift card. Enter the gift card number and the PIN on the back of your gift card or inside the receipt if you have received an Ulta E-gift card. After you have checked your balance, click ‘Check Balance.’ You have completed entering your details and can view the gift card’s remaining value.

To redeem the Ulta Beauty Gift Card in-store, bring in the Gift Card when you purchase. To save the Ulta Beauty Gift Card on Ulta.com, enter the Gift Card number and PIN when paying and checking out. The PIN will be located on the reverse side of your Gift Card underneath the scratch-off silver and black covering on the bottom. One gift card per purchase can be added to the Ulta Beauty online order.
To redeem the Ulta Beauty eGift Card in-store, you need to show your initial eGift Card email printed with the eGift Card number and PIN. Present the Card at the time of purchase. For redemption of the Ulta Beauty Gift Card through Ulta.com, you must enter the number of the eGift Card number and the PIN in the payment section at the time of checkout. One electronic Gift Card can be used for the Ulta Beauty online order.
Returns
You cannot return or cancel the purchase of your ULTA Card after it is taken possession of by you or given to the recipient you intended. Buyers who want to change the date of an eGift Card purchase before its delivery to the recipient need to call Customer Support before the date for delivery selected in the purchasing process.
Lost or Stolen Gift Cards
The ULTA Card should be treated as cash and secured as such. ULTA is not liable if the Card gets lost or is redeemed by a wrong recipient. If the Card is stolen, lost, or damaged, the Card is only replaced with the evidence of receipt. ULTA cannot be held accountable for any cards used without authorization.
